OQO HSDPA Everun vs. OQO. Great to meet you in London.

It was good to meet meet some of you last week. It was nice to show a few people the Everun and the VAIO UX...even Dennis Moore (OQO CEO) got involved and we did an HSDPA speed test between the Everun and the OQO e2...

...the Everun beat the OQO, getting nearly double the speed! Apparently both were on T-Mobile but Dennis had earlier said that his was on Vodafone so I'm not sure.

Either it was the fact that his OQO was on a network with a lower signal in our location, or the OQO was somehow unable to pick up HSDPA on the same signal. The OQO wasn't reporting HSDPA in the Novatel software, but the Everun was. I will test this further when I get my hands on one for a proper review and solve the mystery!

Kiat left a comment to say thanks for me letting him have a go with my toys. No problem! I really enjoy that and it makes a change to doing my sales pitch/ review for each device on my disinterested girlfriend!
